01 · The Reality

You’ve built something successful.
You’re still not free.

You can win work and deliver it. But the business runs through you — every decision, every problem, every late-night worry. Growth just means more of you. And it’s a lonely place to be.

No. 1

Nothing moves without you

Every quote, every hire, every problem defaults back to you. Not because the team can’t — because there’s no system of empowerment underneath them. It’s a decision-concentration problem, not a workload one.

No. 2

It lives in your head

The business runs on what you’re holding — in your diary, your notebook, a hundred WhatsApps. No single source of truth, no rhythm, no machine. So it can only ever be as big as you can carry.

No. 3

It’s lonely at the top

You’re carrying people, a business, a legacy — and there’s often no one to talk to who actually gets it. Your partner doesn’t run a business. Your team can’t see the weight. So you carry it alone.

More effort won’t fix a structure problem. And you shouldn’t have to figure it out on your own. You need a system — and someone in your corner who’s done it before.

02 · What I Do

Not a coach. Not a consultant. An operator.

Most people give you one thing. A coach asks the questions. A consultant hands you a framework. Neither has run what you’re running. I bring four disciplines as one — because a real business needs all of them, from someone who’s been in your seat.

Westley Harnett
01

Coach

Ask the right questions, hold you accountable to what you commit to, and make you do the thinking — so the growth is yours.

02

Consult

Diagnose what’s really holding the business back and install the systems — the operating structure that runs without you in every seat.

03

Advise

Draw on 27 years and five businesses to tell you plainly what I’d do — the bird’s-eye view that covers your blind spots.

04

Mentor

Stand beside you on the hard stuff — the weight, the doubt, the loneliness. There’s always a person behind the business.

“It’s lonely at the top. I’ve been there. With me, you’re never carrying it alone again — you’ve got a trusted partner in your corner who’s walked this road.”
— The Satoris promise
03 · How It Works

A weekly operating rhythm. Not advice on call.

I work on a monthly retainer — embedded in your business, not parachuting in. Predictable cost, predictable rhythm. Here’s what that actually looks like, week to week.

The Session

A fixed slot, every week

Two focused hours, same time. We open with a scored check-in — health, mind, business, tracked over time — then “the good, the bad, the ugly,” then the real work.

The Accountability

Off a written list

Every commitment from last week, read back and checked. What moved, what didn’t, and why. No drifting — you’re held to what you said you’d do, kindly but firmly.

The System

An operating system, built with you

A live Notion workspace — vision, targets, quarterly rocks, task tracker, decision logs — built alongside you in the room, not handed over as homework. Your single source of truth.

The Offload

Get it out of your head

A dedicated channel between sessions. Idea at midnight, worry on the drive home — send it, clear your mind, and we pick it up together. Clients tell me it’s the thing they didn’t know they needed.

And underneath all of it —

You’re never doing this alone.

Between every session, I’m reachable. Bounce an idea, share a win, offload a worry — weekend, evening, whenever it lands. Twenty-plus sessions deep with founders who describe the difference not as a tactic, but as finally having someone in their corner who understands the weight.

04 · The Method

Clarity. Structure. Scale. In that order.

My Scaling Operating System (SOS) — built and proven inside real construction firms. Three outcomes, reached through three phases. It spans all six domains of the business, so nothing gets left behind.

VisionBDSales DeliveryFinancePeople & Culture
Phase 1

Discover & Stabilise

Six to eight weeks mapping the business — the ‘as is’ and the ‘to be’. I download what’s in your head, diagnose the real priorities, and stabilise what’s urgent. You end knowing exactly where you stand. → Clarity.

Phase 2

Design & Systemise

We build the machine. BD pipeline, delivery rhythm, financial visibility, hiring and accountability — installed as systems, in your operating system, so the business holds together without you touching every part. → Structure.

Phase 3

Drive & Scale

We drive the priorities forward — week by week, with the discipline and accountability to keep momentum compounding. You step up and out of the day-to-day, and the business keeps performing. → Scale.

You’ve given me the structure to deliver what I hoped was always possible. I don’t feel overwhelmed at all — I feel as steady and relaxed as I could possibly feel. Because we planned it.

06 · About

From the tools to the boardroom.

I’m Westley Harnett. 27 years in design and construction — on the tools, running projects and teams, then building and scaling five businesses from the inside out.

I’ve been through 2001, 2008, 2020 — the cycles that break founders. I learned the hard way that a business can only grow as fast as the person running it, and that the founder is almost always the ceiling. Satoris exists to remove that ceiling.

What I offer isn’t theory. It’s systems, leadership and mindset together, from someone who’s carried the weight you’re carrying — so you get a business that runs without you in every seat, and results that don’t cost you your health to reach.

We start in different places and move at different paces. But the first step is always the same: a free 30-minute clarity call on where you actually stand.

07 · Working Together

One partnership, shaped to you.

Not a package off the shelf. An ongoing advisory partnership on a monthly retainer — scoped to where your business is and what it needs. It usually takes one of three shapes.

The Founder Scorecard

Two minutes. Six questions. One honest read on how free your business really is.

01 · Vision
Do you have a north star, yearly targets and quarterly goals your team actually runs on?
None of it. We work it out as we go.
There’s a direction in my head, but it’s not written or shared.
We set targets, but they drift and nothing keeps us to them.
North star, yearly targets and quarterly goals, with a rhythm that holds us to them.
02 · Business Development
Do you have a ‘dream 20’ — a named list of ideal accounts that bring predictable, repeatable work from people who know, like, trust and pay you?
Work comes in through luck and whoever calls.
I know who I’d love to work with, but there’s no list and no system.
I have the relationships, but I only chase them when the pipeline’s thin.
A worked ‘dream 20’ that brings repeatable work from people who trust and pay us.
03 · Sales
When a proposal goes out, does it convert on a structured, repeatable process — at a high standard, without you having to be in the room?
Every proposal is built from scratch, and I have to be there to win it.
We have a rough approach, but quality and conversion depend on me.
There’s a process, but it still leans on me for the important ones.
A repeatable sales process that wins high-standard work without me in the room.
04 · Delivery
Can the team run a live job to your standard — making the day-to-day calls themselves — without it all routing back through you?
Nothing moves without me. Every decision comes back to me.
They can deliver, but they check with me before most decisions.
Mostly self-running, but the big calls still land on my desk.
The team runs jobs to standard and makes the day-to-day calls themselves.
05 · Finance
Do you know your real margin on a live job right now — or do you find out when the job’s done?
I find out if a job made money well after it’s finished.
I get updates, but they’re late and I don’t fully trust the numbers.
I can get to live margin, but it takes digging and it’s not routine.
I know the real margin on every live job, in real time.
06 · People & Culture
If your best person left tomorrow, is the business protected — or does a chunk of it walk out the door?
If they left, we’d be in serious trouble. It’s all in their head.
We’d survive, but lose a lot of knowledge and momentum.
Most of it’s documented, but some key things live with individuals.
The business owns its knowledge and capability, not any one person.

08 · FAQ

Questions, answered.

01Who is this for?+

Founders of design and construction businesses — main contractors, fit-out, design-and-build, architectural practices, typically £2–20m — who’ve outgrown how the business runs. If you’re carrying it all in your head and working harder isn’t moving the needle, this was built for you. I also coach founders and leaders outside construction.

02Is this coaching or consulting?+

Both, and more. I blend four disciplines — coaching, consulting, advising and mentoring — because a real business needs all of them. The consulting installs the systems; the coaching builds the founder; the advising draws on 27 years of having done it; the mentoring means you’re never carrying it alone. We scope the right mix on the clarity call.

03What does the retainer actually include?+

A fixed weekly or fortnightly session, a live operating system built with you, standing accountability on what you commit to, written summaries after each session, and reachable support between them. Predictable monthly cost, predictable rhythm. The exact shape is scoped to your business.

04What happens on the free clarity call?+

Thirty minutes, no pitch. We talk about where the business is, where you’re stuck, and whether what I do is what you need. If it’s not a fit, I’ll tell you — and if I know someone who fits better, I’ll point you to them.

05Do I need to be in the UK or GCC?+

No. I’m based in Dubai and deliver in person across the UK and GCC, and remotely worldwide. Much of the work happens over video on a regular rhythm.

06How long does it take?+

Real change is deep work, not a quick fix — this is a marathon, not a sprint. Discovery alone takes six to eight weeks to properly embed and map the business. Engagements run over months so the systems embed and the way you operate genuinely changes. We’ll talk timing on the call.
